I began this blog while “working” a job where I had too much free time. You might think that sounds great, but my experience was that I only felt useless. To know me you have to know my innermost thoughts. Those don’t come around all that much in this blog, I attempt to keep a high filter on my words here. What you will find are parts of my journey, my deep (filtered) thoughts, my search and cry for justice in a broken world, and glimpses into the great joys of my life.

My name is Kyla. I’m 20-something oldest child who loves to read, think, dance, communicate, and listen to Pandora radio. I’ve lived all over the world, mostly for short periods of time, and I’m learning what it means to be settled as well as free.
